Desarrollo Humano y Migración en Michoacán

Resumen

En el presente artículo se realiza un análisis comparativo entre el desarrollo
humano, que denota las condiciones de vida de la población, y la migración,
siendo ésta un fenómeno socio-económico con fuerte tradición histórica en
Michoacán, en el periodo de 1980 a 2005. Así se visualiza que, si bien el
desarrollo humano y la migración han mostrado una relación inversa en los
años ochentas, en determinado momento se ha podido asociar a la intensidad
migratoria con mayores niveles de desarrollo humano; sin embargo esto no se
mantiene en los últimos años, pues la migración vuelve a aumentar en
municipios de menor desarrollo humano, lo que tiene que ver con una
modificación en el propio patrón migratorio, y al aumentar las dificultades
para el viaje se desmotiva la población con condiciones de vida mejores.

ABSTRACT
On this paper it’s done a comparative analysis between the human development,
that shows the life conditions of the population, and the migration, like a
social and economics correlated phenomenon with a strong historical tradition
in Michoacan, on the period between 1980 and 2005. It notes that, the
relationship between human development and migration shows an inverse
direction on 1980, and in certain moment it can associate the migrate intensity
with a high human development level; however this relation can maintain on
the last years of the period, because the migration level turn to be higher on
the municipalities with lesser human development level and this have a relation
with a modification on the migrate movements and when increase the obstacles
of the migrate travel, the population with better life conditions can change of
mind about it.
